Communication Troubles Not a Problem for SERVPRO!

A homeowner in Laguna Hills recently contacted us after a pipe in her home burst. She knew she needed a restoration company, but was having a difficult time communicating with the other restoration companies she had contacted. English was not her first language, and the people she had contacted before were a little less patient. Finally, she called SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea. She called and talked to our amazing phone staff, communicating what she needed and that she needed someone out to the home immediately. We understood and took action!

We immediately sent our Project Manager, Uriel Valencia, to the home. Together, the two worked out exactly what was wrong and what needed to be fixed. He performed an initial inspection, where he found that the dining room, hallway closet, and stairs had all been affected by the pipe leak. He knew it would be a job for SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea.

Uriel then called our Crew Chief, Jose Melgar, to the home to lead our technicians in the removal. We ended up going in and removing all the tile flooring in the dining room and stairs and carpet in the closet. From there, we had to remove a little drywall where the pipe burst.

The homeowner was so grateful for our services. More than anything, she was thankful for the patience of the staff at SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea when it came to communication with her. She loved that we took the extra time to make sure we knew exactly what she wanted and needed. She knew she would be calling us again in the future!
