Crawlspace Gets Water Damage from Leaking Drain

It’s unfortunate how quickly water damage spreads within a home. One leaky pipe can mean an entire removal of drywall or flooring in a room, which can then lead to damage to an entire home. A Brea homeowner recently had a seemingly small kitchen drain leak drip down and affect their entire crawlspace. Thankfully, the homeowner caught it quickly and knew she would need a professional’s help. She ran to her computer and Googled the best restoration company near her and found that SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea was by far the best, even just based on reviews. She gave us a call and we immediately sent our Project Manager, Jonathan Arcila, to the home to survey the damage. 

Jonathan found that the leaking drain had flooded the entire crawlspace area, but thankfully knew that our team at SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea would be able to handle it—and fast. He called Uriel Valencia, our Crew Chief, to come out to the home and lead a team of technicians in the water damage removal. 

We brought our specialized equipment that is sized to fit into crawlspaces and got to work. We first removed all the water from the home and then set up our equipment to dry everything. Thankfully, everything was saved and aside from the water extraction, there was no removal of any part of the home.

The homeowner was so happy with our work! He was pleased that we were able to come out right away and that our work was quick and efficient. He promised to leave us a great Yelp review and use our services again in the future!
