A Lake Forest homeowner recently learned this exact fact. He noticed there was water soaking his tile flooring in the kitchen, but could not find the source of the leak in any of the pipes. He called his plumber, who diagnosed the leak as a slab leak. The plumber recommended that a professional restoration company come out to look at the water damage and remove it the correct way. The homeowner called his insurance company, who immediately referred him to SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea. 

We received the call and dispatched our Project Manager, Uriel Valencia. His initial inspection found that the leak had spread to the family room as well, and that there was a possibility of finding asbestos. He knew SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea could handle the job. He called our expert technicians and they arrived at the scene immediately. First and foremost, we tested for asbestos to make sure the removal would be completely safe. As soon as the test came back negative, we got to work.

We placed equipment to begin the drying process. Thankfully, we noticed the tile was drying really well. This meant we would not have to worry about removing the tile and instead could dry it in place!
