Supply lines are very important to your overall plumbing, but very difficult when they break. Because they are the main lines for everything, the amount of water that gets out is vast. It can ruin an entire home so fast, especially if that supply line is on a second floor. If the flooding gets bad enough, it will leak through the top floor into the first floor’s ceiling and spread water damage to the first floor as well. That just creates more stress for you, the homeowner, than ever needs to be the case. Thankfully, SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea knows how to handle all water damage.

We recently received a call from a homeowner in Cerritos. They noticed water on the floors in the upstairs bathroom, but weren’t sure where it was coming from. Their first call had been to their insurance adjuster to make sure they started the process in a way that the insurance company would help. The adjuster told them to call SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea. 

We immediately sent out our Project Manager, Uriel Valencia. He inspected the area and found the water damage was not only in the bathroom on the second floor, but also the ceiling in the kitchen, dining room and family room on the first floor. He knew it would be a job for SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea. He called our Crew Chief, Waldo Roman, out to the home to complete the job with our team of talented technicians. 

Our technicians got to work quickly. They worked to remove the affected drywall in all the rooms as well as some of the ceilings on the first floor. We also placed equipment to make sure the interior of the walls were completely dry and did not have a chance of mold growth.

The homeowners were so happy with our work. They told us they would give us a call again if anything came up! We love that we made a customer for life.
