SERVPRO Completes Work in Time for Homeowner’s Party

When it comes to water damage, it seems as though the accidents only happen when it’s most inconvenient for you. When you just remodeled the house, or when you have people coming over for a party—that’s when water damage seems to always be the most common. Thankfully, there is a company you can call at all hours of the day. We at SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea understand your time restraints and will do everything in our power to make sure your home is taken care of as soon as possible.

One homeowner in Santa Ana recently called us with a pipe leak under her sink. She had noticed water leaking from the bottom of the sink in her office, and had called a plumber to fix the leak. When the plumber saw the extent of the water damage, he recommended she call SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea.

However, she had two conditions: one was that our work had to be done before the weekend was over because she was having family over the following week, and the second was that we had to do everything we could to save her work desk. We knew we would be the best company for the job. 

She gave us a call and we immediately sent out our Project Manager, Chris Trejo, to the home. He performed the initial inspection and called out our Crew Chief, Waldo Roman, to lead a team of experienced technicians.

Because it was time sensitive, the technicians started work immediately. We understood the importance of the desk, so we made sure to hire a specific moving company that we knew would move the desk delicately. From there, we removed some carpet in the office as well as the master bedroom and hallway where the water damage had spread. Everything else was dried in place.

The homeowner was so happy with our work! We finished with plenty of time before her family came and saved her desk. She promised to use our services again if there was another problem.
