Sink Overflow Damages Orange, CA Home

Sometimes we get so busy that caring for our appliances and dishes tend to get thrown on the back burner. With jobs and families and kids, it is normal to forget about keeping everything in the kitchen maintained, but sometimes that can lead to serious damages. We tend to ignore these appliances until something goes drastically wrong.

For one homeowner in Orange, CA, she never thought about checking to make sure the pipes in her kitchen sink were still in good shape. One day, the sink overflowed due to a backup in the pipes.

She heard the sound of running water from the other room and quickly ran in to turn the water off, but the damage had been done. The water had leaked onto into her kitchen counters, cabinets, and floors of the kitchen as well as the wall between the kitchen and the garage and a part of the living room. The team came in and helped remove a lot of the furniture in the living room and kitchen to make the water damage removal easier. We placed equipment to begin drying the affected areas as quickly as possible.

We saved the entirety of the countertops and only had to remove some drywall behind the sink and a few of the cabinets. The rest was quickly fixed with our professional drying equipment.

The homeowner was so happy with the efficiency of our work and that the damage was kept  to a minimum. We love that we created a life-long client!
