A Broken Pipe Causes Water Damage in a Brea, CA Apartment

One evening, a Brea, CA tenant arrived home to his apartment to discover his kitchen and living room were covered in a couple of inches of water. He had no idea where the water was coming from and was very concerned about the extensive damage that had been caused to his apartment. He called his apartment manager right away to come and assess the situation. He discovered that the tenant above our customer had unknowingly broken a pipe, and it had been leaking down to the apartment below all day while our customer was at work. Having dealt with broken and leaking pipes before, the apartment manager knew just who to call to perform water restoration in the apartment: SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea.  

We received the apartment manager’s call and immediately sent our Production Manager, Chris Trejo, to the complex to assess the damage. Chris determined that water restoration was needed, but it was nothing SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea couldn’t handle.  

Chris then sent out our Crew Chief, Waldo Roman, along with his team of professionals to begin the water restoration at the Brea, CA apartment complex. The tenant voiced some concerns to Waldo about him not being able to stay in his home while the water restoration was being performed. Waldo assured him we would work quickly and be done in no time. Sure enough, because of our hard work and timeliness, the tenant never had to leave his apartment and was able to sleep in his own bed that very same night. The tenant was very pleased with how quickly we worked and were able to get his apartment back to its original, water-free state. What he thought was going to be a long and drawn out process turned out to be one of the easiest and stress-free events he could have imagined for a water restoration.  He was very grateful to SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea for all of our hard work.
