Slab Leak Causes Water Damage in a Yorba Linda, CA Home

After noticing that her water bill was abnormally high for a few months, a Yorba Linda, CA homeowner decided to call a plumber to see what could be going on.  When the plumber arrived, he was able to determine that a slab leak was causing her bill to be so high.  He was able to fix the leak for her, but he suggested she call SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea to see if there was any water damage under the house.  

After receiving her phone call, we sent our Production Manager, Jonathan Arcila, to investigate the damage that could have been caused by the slab leak.  He confirmed the need for water restoration services under the house. In addition, the home was on a raised foundation, and the structure of the home needed to be dried out, as the water had also damaged it.  

To begin the process, Chris called our Crew Chief, Waldo Roman, to the home with his crew of highly trained and experienced professionals.  They arrived in no time to begin the water extraction.  They wanted to start work right away to prevent any further damage from occurring and remove the water as quickly as possible.   

There was a lot of water that needed to be removed from under the home, but our crew worked tirelessly to perform the water extraction as quickly and efficiently as possible.  We were able to finish the job very quickly, and the homeowner was thrilled with our work.  She was happy with how professional our team was and how quickly they were able to finish the task.  She was also pleased that the damage was not as bad as it could have been.  She was grateful we were able to prevent any further damage and that the problem was completely taken care of in her home.
