A Pipe Burst Requires Water Removal Services in a Brea, CA Home

A Brea, CA homeowner was lucky to have accidentally discovered a pipe that had burst in her basement right after it happened.  Water had begun to leak out of a vent and down a wall in her basement.  She had just happened to go down into the basement and noticed that the leak and water damage looked recent.  She immediately called SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea to come assess the situation.  

Our Production Manager, Jonathan Arcila, arrived at the house to look at the water damage.  He determined where the leak was and recommended that she call a plumber to fix the leak.  Jonathan’s inspection revealed that the customer had caught the leak very quickly and because of that, the water damage was minimal.  It would not take long for the heroes of SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea to perform a complete water damage restoration in the home.  

The customer was concerned that our crew would be at her home for an extended amount of time to perform the water removal services.  She was throwing a party the next weekend and wanted to be sure her home would be back to normal before her guests arrived.  Our Crew Chief, Jose Melgar, assured her that we would be able to finish the job before her party.  When our crew arrived, we only had to remove a section of drywall on one wall.  We then set up fans to completely dry out the wall and any other damp areas. Her quick action allowed us to perform the water removal very quickly, ensuring that everything would be ready for the customer’s party over the weekend.  

Once the water removal services were complete, our customer felt relief and gratitude for our crew’s fast and professional work.  She was thrilled to have her home water damage free and thankful we were able to complete everything before her big party.  Everything was put back together and looked as good as new for her guests.
