Mold is Discovered and Removed in a Yorba Linda, CA Home

A homeowner was in her kitchen and noticed there was some mold under her sink.  She had had a mold problem in the past and had used SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea to complete the mold remediation.  When she discovered mold for a second time, she immediately thought to call our mold removal heroes again. 

She first had a plumber out to find out if she had a leak that could be causing the mold growth.  The plumber did not find a leak, but the presence of mold was evident.  The customer was concerned that there was more mold than just what she could see, so she knew she needed the professionals to come and take a look.  When we arrived, we inspected the damaged area of her kitchen and sure enough, the mold growth was more extensive than what the customer could see.  Water damage was seeping up the wall and extended two feet above the mold. 

The extent of the mold growth concerned our customer because she had heard of all of the health risks mold poses.  She did not want to get sick or expose anyone else to the mold growing in her home.  She expressed the urgency of the issue to our representative, Jonathan Arcila, and was very pleased when he had a team arrive the very next day to begin the removal process.  He explained, in detail, the mold removal process to keep the customer informed.  She was very pleased with his professionalism and willingness to help her in every way.  He was even able to ensure that his crew would protect her cabinets and flooring during the removal process.  He assured her her home would be back to its normal, healthy state in no time. 

The customer was thrilled to be in a mold free home in just a short amount of time.  The mold removal was completed quickly and our customer could not have been happier with the professional crew and exceptional service she was provided by SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea.
