Flood in Brea home from a neighboring unit

Having a leak that causes flooding and damage is always unfortunate, but even more so when the leak is from a neighboring unit. In our Brea client’s case, her neighbor had a slab leak that caused flooding in several adjacent units, including our client’s. The flooding from the leak caused damage to her hallway flooring and walls, family room walls, bathroom flooring and walls, and her closet flooring and walls. The extensive damage needed to be handled promptly, professionally, and efficiently.

She found SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea and called us to come out and provide water damage restoration in her home. When she called, we sent Crew Chief, Cesar Arcila, to assist her. She was very happy with Cesar’s professionalism and patience throughout the entire restoration process. He was able to explain everything his crew was going to do to dry out the water and made sure she understood and was comfortable with all work to be performed before he and his crew began. She was thankful for a Crew Chief like Cesar to be running the flood damage restoration in her home.  

The SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea crew removed all of the affected materials for her so that she did not have to worry about the occurrence of any secondary damages or mold growth that might happen after the leak had caused flooding. Her home was dried quickly and safely so the danger of mold growth was eliminated and the structure was completely dry.
