It isn’t always a complete and total loss when it comes to the damage caused by water. For instance, this commercial building got lucky with some minor damage that kept the cost of the repairs to the bare minimum.

After receiving the call and the inspection by our team we realized that this job would take minimal drying effort because of the layout of the walls between businesses. This was tied into a store front that was connected with many other businesses and unfortunately their neighbors had a water leak from a pipe bursting and leaking on the other side of the wall.

Since this was layered with multiple walls the water was unable to leak through which led to minimal damage to their portion of the building. Our team only had to remove the base boards of the walls to then properly dry with our dehumidifiers. Since it was minimal the cost of the repairs went way down because it wouldn’t need any special reconstruction attention.

To help prevent potential mold growth we applied a special anti microbial to the affected area. This chemical is a chemical made by our professional team that is SERVPRO ready at any job site. This is something the client appreciated because they were able to continue operation.
