Massive Kitchen Leak means Water Damage in Brea

One Brea homeowner called us recently with a water damage problem in her kitchen. She first noticed the damage when she went into her kitchen after work and saw the wet floor. She immediately ran to the computer to find the best water damage company in the area. Our name was at the top of the list.

As soon as the call came through, Cesar Arcila, our Project Manager, left to the home. His initial inspection showed that 60 percent of the kitchen had been affected, but thankfully the homeowner had called in enough time that the water damage was contained to just the kitchen. When Cesar got the homeowner’s approval on the quote, he set up some initial equipment to keep the damage from spreading and called our technicians to come to the home and start the work.

The homeowner had a very busy schedule that kept our technicians from coming to the home for three days after the initial inspection, but once our technicians were in we got to work. We removed all the cabinets, drywall and countertops. From there, we placed two air movers and one dehumidifier to dry out the kitchen. We also sanded all the studs to ensure the moisture was completely removed.

Our work was more than satisfactory to the homeowner. She was so grateful for our work and promised that she would call us again if she had more water damage.
