SERVPRO Saves Placentia Home from Serious Water Damage

A Placentia homeowner called us recently with a pipe burst. He found one day that the laminate flooring in his master bedroom was wet, but he was unsure where the water was coming from. He called his insurance adjuster first, who recommended that he call SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea to perform an inspection. He followed those instructions precisely and gave us a call. 

Immediately, we dispatched Jonathan Arcila, our Project Manager. Jonathan found that in addition to the master bedroom, the family room, hallway, hallway bathroom, kitchen, master bathroom, master closet and office all had water damage from the pipe burst. He knew it would be a job for SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea.

He called our technicians, knowing we would get there quickly and be able to fix the water damage. As promised, our technicians arrived promptly and started work. We ended up removing some of the laminate flooring in the master bedroom, master closet, family room and office. Other than that, we were able to save the entirety of the flooring in the remaining rooms as well as some drywall. In order to dry it in place, we set up some drying equipment and dehumidifiers to prevent the wetness from growing mold.

The homeowner loved our work. He was happy his adjuster had referred us, as we saved so much of his home and finished the job as quickly as possible. He told us he would absolutely use our services in the future!
