Quick and Easy Water Damage Removed by SERVPRO

Sometimes our water damage cases are vast. They flood an entire home, require total furniture relocation as well as water extraction and drywall removal. But other times, water damage is simple. A pipe breaks, we’re called, we come out and fix the problem, the homeowner leaves happy. Though we appreciate each and every call and work just as hard on every case we get, we know the smaller cases mean a better situation for the homeowner, which makes us happy for our customers. 

A homeowner in Yorba Linda called us after a slab leak had affected his living room. He initially was unsure exactly where the leak was coming from, but when he saw how his laminate flooring was constantly wet, he knew he needed to call someone. His first call was to his plumber. The plumber came out and diagnosed the leak as a slab leak and then told the homeowner he would need a professional restoration company to come remove the water damage in the home. He recommended SERVPRO.

The homeowner called our main call center, who then forwarded the call to us as we were closest. We immediately sent our Project Manager, Uriel Valencia, to the home to get the initial inspection performed. So we knew what kind of damage we were looking at. Uriel found that the slab leak had affected the living room, family room and kitchen. He knew it would be a job for the expert technicians at SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea, so he called them out.

Our technicians arrived and promptly started the work. We ended up having to remove the laminate flooring in all three rooms as well as some drywall under the sink. To top it all off, we set up some drying equipment to make sure everything dried in place.

The homeowner was very happy with our work! He loved that we came in and took care of his home so well. He knew it was safe in our hands, and he promised to use our services in the future if needed!
