A Yorba Linda homeowner gave us a call after a pipe burst in her home. As the home flooded, the homeowner first called the plumber. The plumber instructed her on how to turn off the water and told her he’d be out shortly to fix the problem. He fixed the pipe and instructed the homeowner to call SERVPRO to remove the water damage. Since our franchise was the closest, our call center forwarded her call to us. 

As soon as the call came through, we dispatched our Project Manager, Jonathan Arcila, to the home. He performed his initial inspection and knew that the home would have to be packed up and moved temporarily. He set up initial drying equipment to make sure the problem did not increase as the homeowner moved her furniture into a storage unit. Since the home was so big, the process took three days, but as soon as she was done we arrived at the home immediately. Our Crew Chief, Jose Melgar, led the team of technicians in the removal. Our technicians removed four feet of drywall and all affected flooring.

The homeowner was so happy with our work. Though she knew the damage was extensive, she was grateful that SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea was able to help. She knew her home was in good hands and promised to call us again if any other water damage problems arose!
