After Hours Call to SERVPRO Means Immediate Response

A homeowner in Yorba Linda recently had to call us at 10:00 p.m. on a Saturday night after noticing her wood laminate flooring was buckling. She had seen our ads that mentioned we were available 24 hours a day and knew to give us a call immediately. She called our call center, who then referred her to us since we were closest in proximity. We responded immediately and sent our Project Manager, Jonathan Arcila, to the home.

Jonathan performed the initial inspection and immediately turned off the water. He found that the slab leak was affecting the hallway, family room, hallway bathroom and hallway closet. He knew we would be able to help! He set up some initial drying equipment to ensure that the water damage did not worsen, and then he scheduled an appointment for the next day to begin work. 

Jonathan called on our Crew Chief, Gilbert Julian, to lead the removal team. They arrived promptly at the scheduled time and immediately got to work. The first step was to extract all the water that had flooded the home. From there, we removed all flooring in the affected rooms as well as some baseboards. Finally, we placed drying equipment to make sure everything dried out completely and the threat of mold was eliminated.

The homeowner was so happy with the work performed by SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea. He knew he had given us a lot of work, but he was thrilled with our immediate response—and on a Saturday!—and promised that he would be calling again in any future water damage situation.
