Sticklers For Detail - Doing It Right - Consistently.

Our customer experienced major water damage in their kitchen.  They were glad they turned to SERVPRO of Yorba Linda / Brea for restoration.

See the blue-taped walls in the "a" section of the "Before" image?  The tape shows how high up the wall water had moved in all the damage.  Our water sensors revealed a heavy degree of moisture saturation.  The wooden kitchen floor also incurred major water damage, see the "b" section.  You can actually see more of the water damage in section "c" and another shot of the wall damage in "d".  

The "After" image shows how we attacked this challenge.  In "1", you can see how we removed the cabinets, and after that, in "2", show you kitchen now demo'd down to bare wooden studs.  The green machine in there is a HEPA air-filter.  We used it to completely scrub the air in that part of the house; necessary because the wood had been wet long enough for mold to grow.  In "3", you can see an industrial air blower.  With all the ruined drywall demo'd and the studs exposed, we were able to were able to rapidly dry the kitchen.  "7" shows a kitchen wall once the drywall was removed.  At this point, we still had to remove and carefully bag & trash the pink insulation.

"4" is a containment wall that we built in order to prevent the microbial mold spores from traveling to other parts of the house once we got working in the kitchen.  "6" is there to show how carefully we remove all trash and debris.  The drywall inside the goose-necked bags is covered with mold and we take no chances of letting it spread in our customers homes or businesses during projects like this.
