From Fire to Smoke in Fountain Valley

Our SERVPRO team was called out for a minor job in Fountain Valley with big problems, smoke removal. If you have ever seen the remains of a fire or even been near one you may know that the smell of it can be intense and sometimes choking you. Before we had begun our work we had to ensure the removal of asbestos was taken care of by another company to ensure safety for ourselves and especially our clients.

The smoke had left sud on the ceiling and floor which left a hard smelling odor throughout the house. The fire had starting from an electric shortage within the house which led to the small fire burning within the home. Luckily the worst part of the damage was caused by the smoke which led our team to clean and disinfect all affected areas.

During our time there we used an air scrubber to help control any particles lingering in the air while our team was washing and rinsing the inside of the home with another one of our in-house chemicals. We have plenty of sweet smelling aromas to choose from and we allow our clients to make the choice. Our team ensured that before we left every inch of the house was covered in our new smell.

After returning to the home a few weeks later we were pleased to hear from the clients that from the moment we left the house it had smelled like it was deeply cleaned. They claimed it smelled fresh every time they came home which is always something we strive for.
