SERVPRO Saves Home from Other Water Damage Company

Not all water damage companies are as experienced as SERVPRO. We know we’re good at what we do, and there’s no two ways about it. Some other companies are not as trustworthy. A homeowner in Santa Ana recently experienced this scenario. She noticed wet carpet from a slab leak and called another restoration company to take care of it. However, a few weeks after the project was completed, the homeowner noticed a musty smell. She immediately knew it was probably left over from her earlier slab leak. She decided to get a second opinion, so she hopped on Yelp to find the best water damage company in the area. When she found the number for SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea, she gave us a call. 

Immediately, we sent our Project Manager, Uriel Valencia, to the home. He performed his initial inspection and found that there indeed was more moisture in the hallway still. He called our technicians out to the scene to start the work immediately. 

Our technicians arrived on the scene and immediately got to work. We set up some drying equipment and let the rest of the moisture dry completely. Fortunately for the homeowner, we did not have to do any more removal and, more importantly, there were no signs of mold yet. As soon as it was dry, we were able to pack up and get out of her hair. 

The homeowner was thrilled with our work! She loved that we were able to go in and fix what the previous restoration company could not. She promised we would be her first call next time if she had any water damage issues.
