SERVPRO Saves Walnut Home from Water Damage

10/12/2015 (Permalink)

At SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea, we work to ensure that all our clients are taken care of to the best extent. That’s why we get so many referrals. Whether it’s word of mouth from previous clients, a plumber or even other SERVPROs, we appreciate each and every referral. Those that refer us know we’re the best in the business. We know that improperly treated water damage can mean mold in the future, and to us, the safety of you and your family is of the utmost importance. This is why we pride ourselves on work that is both efficient and speedy.

Recently, we had a plumber give our name to a homeowner in Walnut. The homeowner had woken up one morning to find that a pipe had burst in the wall of their family room. The hardwood flooring in the family room and the connected hallway were completely saturated. The homeowner’s first call was to their plumber, who came out and fixed the leak. When he saw the extent of the water damage, he told them to give SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea a call.

As soon as we received the call, we sent our Project Manager, Jonathan Arcila, to the home. He performed the initial inspection and gave a quote to the insurance agency. As soon as we got the okay, we went forward with the work. The work included removing drywall in the family room and hallway, as well as some of the flooring in the family room. Thankfully, we were able to dry all the flooring in the hallway in place!

The homeowner was so grateful for the work we did. More than anything, they were happy we were able to save the hallway flooring. They know hardwood flooring can be expensive, so they were so happy we worked hard to save as much as we could. They knew they would be calling us again if anything else were to happen! We are happy to add them to our list of referral sources.
