SERVPRO Saves La Mirada Home

No one likes having to deal with water damage in his or her home. Even more, when the damage is upstairs, the repairs can be even worse. Water leaks through the floor and into the ceiling of the floor beneath it, creating ceiling bubbles and damaging drywall in the process. Thankfully, if dealt with in a timely manner, the damage can be contained and kept to a minimum. Less damage means less demolition, which in turn saves you money. Literally, time is money when it comes to water damage.

One home in La Mirada had a quick reaction that kept the home from having any sort of demolition. When they woke up one morning to find their washer line had broken over night, they knew something needed to happen, and fast. It had already flooded the laundry room and would keep spreading unless they called a professional.

They hopped online and did a quick Google search for the best water damage restoration companies in their area and saw that SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea was by far the best in the business. Our Production Manager, Jonathan Arcila, completed the initial inspection. He found that the tile, drywall, and baseboard were all wet in the laundry room, and called out a team of technicians immediately. He set up some equipment to make sure the damage did not spread while the team made their way to the home. 

When the technicians got there, they set to work immediately. Thankfully the homeowners and SERVPRO had both responded quickly enough that everything was dried in place! There was no demolition that had to be done.

The homeowners were so happy that the demolition was nonexistent and thanked us for our quick work, but in reality they were responsible for the help as well! They assured us they would be calling again if they needed our services.
