Home with Newborn Has Concern about Mold

Having a baby is an exciting time in life. At the same time, it makes you think that much harder about all the dangerous things out in the world! Suddenly there are germs and sharp corners and heavy, crushing objects everywhere, and they all pose a threat to your precious little one! One of these concerns is, understandably, mold. Bringing a new baby into a home with mold is dangerous for everyone involved! It can infect furniture and toys, which make it that much easier to get to you or your child.

One homeowner in Buena Park had this exact worry. After a heavy rain, the homeowners noticed a leak in their roof. The water was leaking into their attic and they noticed some water damage. They had a roofer out to the home to patch up the hole, but for theirs and their new baby’s safety, they knew they would need a water damage company to come out and take a look.
