A Dishwasher Leak Leads to Water Damage in a Yorba Linda, CA Home

One evening, a Yorba Linda, CA homeowner turned on her dishwasher while she went to do other things in her house.  When she figured the cycle would be complete, she went back to the kitchen to unload the dishwasher and put the dishes away.  When she entered the kitchen, the cycle was indeed complete; however, her entire kitchen had flooded. 

She immediately called a technician to come and fix the dishwasher.  He determined that a hose in the back had broken and allowed water to pour into her kitchen.  He was able to fix the dishwasher, but the homeowner still needed someone to look at the water damage the broken hose had caused.  After performing a Yelp search, she determined that our of all the water damage companies, the best company to call to remove the water damage was SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea. 

She called us and told us about her situation.  We sent our Production Manager, Chris Trejo, to the property right away to investigate the water damage.  He took a look around the kitchen and determined that she needed our services.  He then called our Crew Chief, Jose Melgar, and his team of water damage experts. 

Jose and his team of professionals were able to safely and quickly remove all of the water damage from the kitchen.  They first removed all of the water and then took out the affected areas of the flooring.  Once that phase was complete, the team set up fans to dry out any remaining moisture in the kitchen to ensure mold was prohibited from growing.  The customer was thrilled that they were able to work efficiently and have her kitchen back to normal in a very short period of time.  She wholeheartedly agreed that SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea was the best of all the water damage companies in the area.
