A Broken Pipe Floods a Brea, CA Home

A Brea, CA homeowner was woken up in the middle of the night to the sound of rushing water. Knowing that something must be seriously wrong, she jumped out of bed to discover that the floors in her home were starting to flood with water. She rushed to her water main and shut off the water to her entire house. This stopped the water from continuing to flood her home, but water damage had already been done. She immediately called a plumber to find out what had gone wrong and to have it repaired.

A plumber arrived at her home and determined that a pipe had broken and that is where all of the water was coming from. While he was able to fix the pipe for her, he also recommended that she call SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea to look at the water damage and see if they could remove it. 

She called us right away, and we sent our Production Manager, Jonathan Arcila, to investigate the water damage. Jonathan determined that our services were needed, and he called our Crew Chief, Jose Melgar, to the home with his team of water damage removal specialists. They arrived shortly after and began work. They started by removing all of the water from the home and then worked on removing all of the damaged portions of the flooring and the walls. They quickly completed the project and had the homeowner back in a dry, water damage-free home.

The homeowner was thrilled with our efficiency and professionalism. Luckily, she called us quickly, and we only had to remove a very minimal portion of damaged areas. We were also able to finish in no time and the homeowner was very grateful for that. She was happy with every part of the job we completed for her.
