A Burst Pipe Causes Water Damage in a Yorba Linda, CA Home

One evening, a Yorba Linda, CA homeowner was doing his dishes when all of a sudden water started spilling out from the cabinet under the sink. He looked under the sink and realized that the pipe under the sink had burst. He had dealt with water damage before in his home and knew that the best water restoration company to call was SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea. 

He called right away, and we sent out our Production Manager, Jonathan Arcila, to look at the damage and determine what needed to be done. After examining all of the damage, Jonathan informed the homeowner that professional water restoration equipment was needed to remedy the damage to the home. He then called and sent out our Crew Chief, Jose Melgar, to the home along with a team of water restoration professionals to begin the water restoration process.

Jose brought fans to air out the kitchen along with other water restoration equipment, which included a dehumidifier to remove any excess moisture from the air. The dehumidifier was brought in to prevent the growth of mold. Luckily, the homeowner had called us quickly and mold had not begun to grow, but we wanted to make sure that all of the moisture was gone so that there was no chance it would start to grow later. 

We finished the water restoration in no time at all, and the homeowner was pleased that we were able to clean up all of the water and get rid of the damage so quickly. He was happy with our professional work and the high quality of service we provided him with. Should he ever need a water restoration company again, he said he would be calling us with confidence.
