Water Restoration is Needed at a Brea, CA Business

After the first big rain of the winter season, it is common for people to discover new leaks that went unnoticed in dry weather.  Following some heavy rain in Brea, CA, a business owner returned to work to find the carpets in his main lobby sopping wet, and he also found water damage on the ceiling.  He realized that there must have been a pretty major leak in the ceiling that he was unaware of until now.  The water had dripped from the ceiling to the floor in the main lobby and needed to be cleaned up immediately.

The business owner grabbed a mop and began cleaning up the water as best he could.  When the rain stopped, he called the best water restoration company in the area: SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea.  We sent out our Production Manager, Jonathan Arcila, to inspect the damage at the business.  It was a good thing that the owner began to clean up as soon as he found the damage and that he called us so quickly.  Jonathan determined that water restoration services were needed at the site, but thankfully, the damage was still minimal since everyone acted quickly.

To prevent any further damage, we immediately sent our Crew Chief, Jose Melgar, and his excellent water restoration crew to the business to begin work.  The team was able to remove the damaged areas and completely remove all of the water from the ceiling and floor.  We were finished with the water restoration project in no time, and the customer couldn’t believe how quickly we completed the project.  He was happy we were able to begin work right away—he was concerned the damage was going to be extensive, but our quick response to the issue reduced the potential damage and had his business up and running again in no time.
