Water Damage Restoration in Brea, CA

12/15/2014 (Permalink)

One morning, a Brea, CA business owner entered her building to find her lobby and offices were all wet.  The carpeting was soaking, and the wet area was much too large to have been caused by a spill.  There was no obvious sign of a leak or any other reason the floors should be wet.  To determine what the issue was, she decided to call SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea, the water damage restoration experts, to come and assess the issue.

We sent our Production Manager, Jonathan Arcila, to the business to investigate the damage.  After a thorough look, he was able to determine that the water was coming from a slab leak.  He informed the business owner that water damage restoration was needed.  He then called our Crew Chief, Jose Melgar, to come with his team of specialists to begin the water damage restoration.

Luckily, the business owner called us as soon as she noticed the problem. Had she waited, the water damage restoration process would have been much more extensive.  Once the water damaged areas were assessed, the team set up dehumidifiers and air movers to begin the dry out process.

The customer was thrilled with our quick response and hard work.  The communication between her and our team was superb, and she appreciated the updates and details she was given about the water damage restoration process.  She was surprised by the leak and was worried the damage was going to be much worse than it was.  Thanks to our quick action, we were able to completely rid her Brea business of water to prevent any further damage and to prevent the growth of mold.  The owner can now resume business as usual and be confident that she and her employees are working in a dry and clean environment.
