Water Damage Repair is Required in a Brea, CA Home

A Brea, CA couple was on vacation and returned home to find water all over the bathroom floor.  She looked around the bathroom and discovered that a pipe under the sink had burst.  Since they had been on vacation, they were unaware of when the pipe burst and for how long the water had been leaking onto the cabinet and the floor.  The homeowner knew that it was long enough to cause damage to the cabinet.  What she did not know was whether or not it was long enough for mold to begin growing.  To find out, she immediately called SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea, the water damage repair experts, to come and investigate the affected area.  

We sent our Production Manager, Chris Trejo, to the home the same day to assess the damage.  Luckily, Chris was able to determine that there was no mold present in the bathroom.  The homeowners were happy they called us out in time to prevent mold.  However, there was water damage, but it was nothing SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea couldn’t handle.  

Our Crew Chief, Waldo Roman, was then sent to the property with his crew to begin the water damage repair.  Our team was able to completely dry out the bathroom by removing all of the excess water.  This allowed us to prevent any further damage and to prevent mold from growing on any of the affected surfaces.  It was thanks to our quick response time that we were able to do all of this before any serious damage had occurred.  

The homeowner was thrilled with our timely completion and excellent water damage repair service.  They were happy to be back in a home without any water damage with the peace of mind that they were not living in an environment with mold.
