Water Restoration is Needed in a Brea, CA Home

A few months ago, a Brea homeowner had a leaky toilet repaired in his upstairs bathroom. Though he took care of the problem immediately, he was all of a sudden noticing a water spot on the ceiling in his downstairs bathroom.  Concerned about whether the damage was caused by the previous leak or a new one, he called a plumber to look at the toilet.  The plumber determined that the toilet was leaking again, and he fixed the leak.  He then recommended that the homeowner call SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea to assess the water damage and check for mold. 

The customer contacted us about our water removal services and wanted someone to come out as soon as possible to make sure that any mold issue could be taken care of quickly.  He was aware of the health hazards that mold posed and wanted to be sure that he was not living in an unhealthy environment.  We sent our SERVPRO representative, Jonathan Arcila, to assess the damage at the home the very same day.  Following his inspection, he was pleased to inform the customer that there was no mold present and only water restoration would be required.  He explained all of our water removal services to the customer to keep him in the loop about what we would be doing in his home. 

Because the home only required water restoration, we were able to complete the process with just a few days.  We ensured that the affected area was completely dry to prevent any further damage and to keep mold from beginning to grow.  Our quick response and professional water removal services were greatly appreciated by the customer.  He was happy with our work and glad to have his home back to its undamaged condition.
