Drain Leak Means Water Damage in Murrieta

3/28/2016 (Permalink)

There are so many pipes in your home, it seems like only a matter of time before one breaks, especially when it comes to bathrooms and kitchens. It only takes one leak to ruin your home, and with appliances covering what seems like every square inch, the likelihood of a leak is pretty high. Thankfully, that’s why SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea is around! One call to us and we will immediately send one of our talented technicians to your home to keep you and your home as safe from harm as possible.

A home in Murrieta recently contacted us with a problem: her upstairs bathroom drain had started to leak. She’d noticed that the floor in her bathroom was consistently wet and knew she would need some sort of professional to come out and take a look. She’d initially called her plumber, who diagnosed the leak and told her to call SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea to get the water damage removed.

She gave us a call and we were able to immediately send our Project Manager out to take a look. He found that the water damage had leaked into the hallway and down into the living room on the first floor. He knew our team would be the best for the job, so he called our Crew Chief, Uriel Valencia, and our team of technicians to come out to the home.

Uriel directed our technicians to remove some of the drywall in the hallway and living room. From there, we set up some drying equipment to keep everything from growing any sort of mold or mildew. We were able to thankfully save everything in the bathroom.

The homeowner was so happy with our work! She was glad we were able to send someone out so soon and save her home from any further water damage. She told us she would most certainly use our services again in the future if she found any other water damage!
