Homeowner Helps SERVPRO Save Orange Home

A homeowner in Orange contacted us recently to have us come out and look at some water damage in her home. A pipe had burst in their kitchen and was starting to spread. Luckily, the first person the homeowner called was their plumber, who told them to turn off the water. The homeowner did exactly what was instructed and turned the water off so the water damage would stop spreading. From there, the plumber told her to call SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea. 

Though it was after hours, we are always up and ready to help you. The homeowner gave us a call and we sent our on-call Project Manager, Cesar Arcila, to the home. He was able to look over the water damage and saw that it had just started to run into the dining room. He knew SERVPRO of Yorba Linda/Brea would be the company for the job, so he set up some initial drying equipment to keep the damage from spreading and scheduled our workers to come out to the home the very next day.

Our technicians showed up and immediately got to work. We had to remove some laminate flooring from both rooms as well as a little drywall. In order to make sure the drywall was removed safely, we performed an asbestos abatement as well. To finish the job, we set up more drying equipment to make sure everything dried properly.

The homeowner was so happy with our work. She knew that we did everything we could to save her home! We told her that without her quick actions in turning the water off, the damage could have been much worse, so she only had herself to thank. She told us she would absolutely be using our services again in the future.
