A homeowner in Yorba Linda recently found that the tile in her dining room was always covered in water. She was unsure why, so she called her plumber to take a look at the pipes. He found that there indeed was a slab leak under her dining room and it was spreading fast. He found that the dining room, kitchen and hallway had all been affected by the slab leak and there would definitely have to be some removal. As soon as our technicians arrived, they got to work. They first performed a test for asbestos, which came back positive, so we had to perform an asbestos abatement. From there, we removed some of the tile so the plumber could get in and re-route the pipes. And finally, we placed drying equipment to rid the affected areas of any lingering moisture.
